About Havicom
Founded in 1999 by Steve Haviland, Havicom has evolved from a one-man show into a team of dedicated professionals spanning three states and two countries. Our diversity gives projects a unique perspective, so your business shines in a positive light.

Steve Haviland - President
Public Relations, Writing, Consulting and Coaching: Steve started his business in 1999 as a “self-employed guy.” Today, he leads Havicom’s evolvement into a growing and diversified company. Earlier in his career, Steve spent eight years reporting (community newspapers and banking newsletters), one year writing for an ag-environmental firm, and doing various freelance work. He has a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, majoring in journalism with an emphasis in business.

Brick Kane
Marketing and Advertising: Brick owns BRICKdesigns, an advertising agency based in West Seattle. BRICKdesigns collaborates with Havicom, expanding the scope of integrated communications services. Prior to opening his business in 2006. Brick worked in magazine publishing, as a production manager for an advertising agency and as a marketing manager.

Jesus (Chuy) Wong
Graphic Designer: Chuy joined Havicom in 2004, creating custom graphic and web designs. He also works in marketing and advertising graphic design for BRICKdesigns. Chuy’s graphic design career started in 2001, working for newspapers, institutions, political campaigns and businesses in Mexico. From 1993 – 2001, he worked in mass communications. Chuy’s bachelor’s degree is in mass communications from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes.

Antonio (Tony) Nieves
Information Technologies: Tony started his professional career in 2005. He joined Havicom in March 2006, putting together web sites and web programming. Tony has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes. He is working on a master’s degree in business management.
